Comparison of planet and star sizes. **MORE INFO BELOW** All planets and stars are scaled correctly. Contains all of the planets in our solar system (and Pluto), our sun, Vega (a star), and VV Cephi A (an enormous star, estimated to be the 3rd largest). Order of Planets and Stars: Pluto, Mercury, Mars, Venus, Earth, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, The Sun, Vega, VV Cephi A Also, at the end of the video, Vega is actually visible as a very small blue dot in the center of the screen. *Note: Planet rings are not to scale, they are simply aesthetic. Song is "Fury Unleashed" This video was created entirely by me with blender V2.49 and V2.56Beta. Creation/Development Time: 20 Hours Render Time: 16 Hours Changelog: Version 1: The first full render which was done after the video was deemed worthy for upload. Can be viewed here: www.youtube.com Version 2: Rendered in 1080p. Has improved camera angles and a black background instead of default blue. Can be viewed here: www.youtube.com Version 3 (Final Version): Also rendered in 1080p. Has lower lighting levels. Removed specular lighting form planets, made all stars bright, and added soft reflections. Also optimized planets for faster render speed and added shadows. Added my own audio instead of using YouTube's AudioSwap. License: creativecommons.org Commercial use: May be allowed if I have been contacted first and an agreement made. You can use whatever licensed soundtrack you wish. A new version with fully textured and bump-mapped ...

When night falls on Lake Victoria and the fishermen from Mbita in Western Kenya get ready for night fishing, Osram is lighting the dark. The men go fishing with energy-saving lamps instead of kerosene lamps as in the past. This was very expensive and meant CO2 emissions, fire danger, burns, and the kereosene smoke causes cancer. In the region, Osram has launched a unique project for producing light independently from a grid-based power supply. At specially constructed energy hubs with solar panels, the local people can recharge batteries for lamps and other electrical appliances at low cost and without damaging the environment. Osram was given the German Sustainability Prize 2008 for energy efficient products. (Paul Heller, SiemensTV)

i finally got the light to go on without using myself as Ground/Earth the things was i had to connect 1 wire to the bulb/ligt glass itself and then it goes on without ground/earth i also made a switch so i can boost the light power. i connected 4 wires to each leg of the light, instead of 2 as i have seen on some site on the net i placed the camera circuit inside a small box, and then i used speaker connectors to connect the light up to it, i made it like this so i can always reuse my inverter for other projects sofare this proof of concept works 100%

Here"s what solar panels I have so far, not many but they seem to do the job I need them to do. I been adding more as time goes by so I can run more things. So far I can run LED lights I wired throughout my home, and two audio systems, and a few small battery chargers, and CFL bulbs. I hope to get more panels to do more in time. Thanks for watching my video.

While on an annual vacation, I tested the N100 and N200 bulbs and was so pleased with the result. Considering it isn't summer in Mexico in December, the nightly light was great! This is meant to be B-Roll and just general learning how to video the lights. Best Regards, Steve

My upgraded system showing the two new 70W panels giving out 8 amps, running into the combiner box that I made in another video, then running to my charge controller to charge my batteries. I changed from running my inverter from the charge controller to running it directly from the batteries. I only use about 400w at a time from my 1200w inverter so nothing is at capacity and all of my wires are very cool. I upgraded my cables from the charge controller to the batteries to #10 AWG solid core wires also. Now I have 8 batteries for a total battery bank of 880 amp/hours. This runs most of my household lights and a 19" color TV every night. With my new panels, I am charged up by about 2 pm the next day. I usually do not discharge my batteries more than 25% per day.

Project Batteries, 6nr of 12v 7AHr batteries in parallel. That are being Charged at 15v 12W Solar Cell and 2nr 2.5W 18v Cells at Peak. 15v x 12w = 0.8 Amps Hours 18v x 5w = 0.27777778n Amp Hours If we consider 1 Amp Hours Per Days Sunlight That is 7 Amp Hours a day at least We can get 500 watts of these for nothing! I have 8x 15 Watt energy saving light bulbs in my flat total. so 15 x 8 is 120 Watts, I can light my home for 4.166 Hours a night free! with all the lights on! or just my living room for 250 hours. Include my Tv and internet and laptop. Laptop at 70w Tv at 68w Internet and cable box at 40w+10w = 50 70+68+50+30 = 218w 500w / 218 =2.2935 Hours of free electricity Excluding the cooker and Claire's Hair Dryer we are saving a third on lighting and TV alone... They are 1000W inverters not as said in the video.... Peak at 2000W... Enjoy.. Welcoming your Thoughts Paul....
